Residential Block Party Permit
Any individual or organization planning on hosting a residential block party must apply for and receive a permit for the event.
There is no permit charge or requirement to name the city an additional insured against liability or claims.
Block parties meet the following criteria:
- Neighborhood gathering of one or two city blocks. If two, they must be adjacent.
- Between the hours of 12:00 noon and sunset
- The street or right-of-way will be closed or restricted for use
- The gathering is completely residential in nature and doesn't include the sale of food or beverages
