Garbage & Recycling Collection

City residents are serviced by Gene's Disposal through a citywide contract.

 

Regular Pickup

Residential pick-up for garbage is curbside every Tuesday, and every other Tuesday for recycling. Commercial pick-up is through Waste Management.

 

Recycling

Recycling gets picked up every other week. You can check the event calendar on the homepage for the schedule if needed. If you’re wondering what materials can be recycled, check out Gene's Disposal's recycling guide or search Eureka! Recycling's "What Can I Recycle?" page.

 

Missed Pickup

If your trash is missed, call the city office as soon as possible: 651-433-3636. We'll help you arrange a pickup.

 

Billing and Account Changes

Garbage and refuse is billed quarterly. Please contact the city office to set up new service or change existing service.

 

Large Items and Additional Pickups

The City holds two Heavy Metal/Clean Up days each year for large items. If you would like to pay for additional pickup sooner, call Gene's (651) 426-1224 to schedule directly. Commercial accounts: Call WM at 651-487-8546.
