Those big, new storm water basins downtown — how the heck do they work and why do we have them?
Please join Carnelian-Marine-St. Croix Watershed District Administrator Mike Isensee and Councilwoman Wendy Ward October 2 for a fun and robust tour of the four major new stormwater ponds downtown to include the raingardens, wetland restoration, channel stabilization and trail restoration.
Walking around each feature, Mike will explain why these are needed, how they benefit our town and the River, how they work, how they get maintained, and, how you can be a part of them functioning properly. Mike and Wendy will also talk about other water quality improvement projects and future plans and opportunities between our City and Watershed district.
