Broadway Street Micro Surfacing Construction Notice - UPDATE

Micro milling has been scheduled for Wednesday August 16th, weather permitting, along Broadway Street. This street has had its limits marked in the field with pink paint. This process will likely take the entire day and will be drive-able immediately after the milling has been completed.

Broadway Street will be paved on Thursday August 17th or Friday August 18th.

Please do not park on Broadway Street from 7 am to 7 pm, Wednesday – Friday, August 16th to 18th.

Flaggers will be on site to assist with directing traffic throughout construction. There may be a short period of time (15-20 minutes) when you cannot enter or exit your driveway when they are milling or paving in front of your home. Once they have rolled the newly paved material, you will be able to drive on the road again. This is “Micro Surfacing” Pavement and will be thinner than a typical pavement section, so please make sure to always be moving when turning your wheels on the surface after construction. Stationary turning may result in tearing up the new pavement if done prior to the pavement cooling down.

We apologize for any inconvenience this construction may cause you. Thank you for your cooperation and patience throughout the process of improving our streets!

Please contact the City’s construction representative Isiah Bubany at (651) 308-1491 or Isiah.Bubany@bolton-menk.com if you have any questions or concerns.
