Sept. 20: North Meadow DNR Grant Herbicide Application Information

Sept. 20: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. spraying will occur in the North Meadow.

Sixteen acres of City Owned land received a second round of Minnesota Dept. of Natural Resources Legacy grant funding. This is a three year grant that will continue work which began in 2020 in Jackson Meadow.

“The current grant covers limited, necessary spraying of invasive plants that will take place from time to time over the next three years at the direction of an experienced environmental ecologist. The City will post notices of expected spraying dates as far in advance as is practicable.”
