The MMEDAC’s task is to find common ground between what’s possible at the Marine Education Site (550 Pine St.) and the interests and expectations of citizens and stakeholders, then create a master site plan.

Marine Elementary Landscape Visioning Project Slides
In July 2023, a UW Madison Landscape Architecture student who once attended Marine Elementary presented ideas for planning possibilties at 550 Pine St. These are not actual project plans, but a helpful starting point in understanding possibilities for the property.
